Unplanned outage: DDoS against Corvallis hub customer, 2014-09-29 20:20-21:00

NERO experienced a large DDoS attack against a customer at the
Corvallis hub between roughly 20:20 and 21:00 this evening.  The
attack peaked at 10Gbps and > 800kpps.  Unfortunately, this also had
collateral damage and impacted the bandwidth of all customers attached
to the Corvallis hub.  This includes:  OSU, OSUOSL, City of Corvallis,
Benton County, and LBCC.  We are investigating the attack and will
work with the impacted customer.
