Planned Maintenance: Multiple Activities, 3/9/2009, 0400-0600

Multiple maintenance activities will occur during the next regularly
scheduled maintenance window Monday, March 9, 2009 between 0400-0600.

Level3 Circuit Migration: The Level3 circuit will be migrated to an
upgraded router platform on the Level3 end of the circuit.  This outage
will be brief and traffic will re-route to redundant connections during
the actual work.  This may cause traffic interruption as routes
propagate and converge.

NERO Core distribution switch code upgrades: The current switch code has
experienced a spontaneous crash on a few of the switches so we will
perform a proactive code upgrade to fix existing bugs in an orderly
manner.  All traffic will reroute seamlessly and no traffic interruption
is expected.

Corvallis Customer Aggregation switch hardware swap: The switch upgrade
performed during the February 23, 2009 maintenance period did not
completely solve the errors we are seeing on a few of the ports.  More
switch work will be performed to correct the errors.  This work will
affect the traffic for the following customers:

City of Corvallis
Corvallis-Benton County Public Library
Coos County Extension Service
Curry County Extension Service
Douglas County Extension Service
Linn-Benton Community College, Albany Campus
Linn-Benton Community College, Benton Center
Lake County Extension Service

OSU/City Wireless Test Transport
OUS Data Center (old location)
SDC/ODOT Corvallis Transport
