Unplanned outage: Medford Hub Customers, 6/4/2009, 0031-0112, 0242-0245

NERO's transport provider for connectivity to the Medford Hub had a 
major failure during a software upgrade on their DWDM system last night. 
  The failures caused multiple outages affecting all customers attached 
to the Medford Hub early this morning, June 4, 2009.  The longest outage 
duration was between 0031 and 0112.

The maintenance was not supposed to be service affecting.  The system is 
currently up and operating in a degraded state and will need to be fully 
repaired soon.  NERO will work with the vendor and will send additional 
information as soon as it becomes available.
