Unplanned outage: Denial of Service attack 1500 - 1530 affected Eugene customers

NERO experienced a DDoS attack against one of our customers in Eugene,
between 1500 and 1530 today. Unfortunately, the high-rate of packets
also resulted in collateral loss of connectivity for other customers in
Eugene. Affected customers include: City of Eugene, Lane ESD, LTD,
Oregon Research Institute, RIS, Springfield Public Schools, Springfield
Utility Board, and Willamalane.
NERO has taken steps to mitigate the attacks and will continue to
monitor.
