Planned Maintenance: NERO Optical backbone - Corvallis to Portland, 10/27/2008, 0400-0600

NERO will be working on the Corvallis to Portland segment of the NERO
Optical Backbone during the next regularly scheduled maintenance window
on Monday, October 27, 2008 between 0400-0600.

This work will correct some optical system parameters for 10G wavelenth
operation on the full system.  All transport paths are covered with a
redundant circuit and all traffic will re-route during the maintenance
window with minimal, if any, traffic interruption.
