A NERO customer attached to the Corvallis hub was the target of a high
packet attack. Customers attached to the same router were affected by
the high utilization. Affected customers include City of Corvallis,
Benton County, Linn Benton Community College, OUS, and a number of OSU
Extension Sites.
NERO has blocked the source addresses that appear to be behind the
attack and will continue to monitor. Traffic has restored to normal.
Please contact the NERO NOC if you have any questions or concerns.
