NERO has been notified about a serious bug in Juniper's JunOS router
operating system that requires an emergency upgrade to resolve.
Unfortunately there are no workarounds and the nature of the bug means
that it can be exploited remotely. With this in mind, NERO will be
upgrading all Juniper JunOS-based routers in the network tomorrow
morning, December 14, 2007, between 0400-0600.
This outage will affect all customers directly attached to the following
routers for up to 10 minutes while the router reloads:
ptck-car1-gw
corv-car1-gw
eugn-car1-gw
All other customers will be unaffected.
If you have any questions and/or concerns, please contact the NERO NOC at:
email: noc at nero.net
voice: 541.346.6376
Thanks,
David
